Wrestling Set for East Regional Duals this Saturday (Feb. 7)

The Gardner-Webb wrestling team will travel to Pittsburgh, Pa.
this Saturday, February 7 for the East Regional Duals hosted by
Duquesne University. The teams competing in this year's duals
include: Gardner-Webb, Liberty, Duquesne, Millersville, Campbell,
Delaware State, and Wagner.
The addition of Wagner and Campbell to the duals this year would
force a total of 21 matches to take place. This many matches would
ultimately be too many for one day, so each team wouldn't have the
opportunity to face the other six schools on Saturday. So, results
from previously wrestled matches will factor into the overall team
records for the duals.
Since the Regional Committee decided this process the Bulldogs will
enter the regional at an 0-2 mark, as they have already fallen to
Liberty and Campbell earlier this season.
Also, the 13 matches on Saturday will be held at North Hills High
School in Pittsburgh, so there will not be any live stats or video
feeds available.
