GWU's Hutschalik Sets New School Record at CCU Asics Invitational

Conway, S.C. – Gardner-Webb redshirt-freshman Christoph Hutschalik set a new school record this past weekend at the Coastal Carolina University Asics Invitational meet.
Hutschalik set a new school record in the outdoor track and field
hammer throw event, as he turned in a record throw of 55.94 m
(183-06 feet), which was good enough to place him in second-place
overall for the event. His throw was roughly 2.5 feet short of the
NCAA qualifying distance.
The Bulldogs will look to jump into the outdoor track and field
season full speed ahead next weekend, March 20-21, when they will
compete in the 49er Invitational in Charlotte, N.C.
