GWU to Host 2009 NCAA East Regional Wrestling Championships

Boiling Springs, N.C. – On Saturday, March 7, Gardner-Webb University will host the 2009 NCAA Division I East Regional Wrestling Championships in Paul Porter Arena.
The event, which includes Wagner, Delaware State, Millersville,
Duquesne, Liberty, Campbell and Gardner-Webb, will take place
all-day Saturday.
The doors will open at 9 a.m. with the first session, the first
round, slated to start at 10 a.m.
The semi-finals and first round consolation session will
immediately follow the opening round at approximately 12 noon,
which will be followed by the consolation semi-finals at 2 p.m.
After a brief intermission the second session, the championship and
consolation finals matches will take place at 4:30 p.m.
Tickets for the event are $10 for the first session, $10 for the
second session or $15 for an all day pass which will get you into
both the first and second sessions.
