Gardner-Webb's Hughey and Zachensky Recieve CollegeSwimming.Com Women's Mid-Major All-American Honorable Mention Honor

SOMERS, WI - CollegeSwimming.com announced the 2010 Division I Mid-Major All-America Swimming teams Tuesday afternoon, with Gardner-Webb's Corey Hughey and Kim Zachensky both receiving honors, receiving Honorable Mention status.
Along with the All-American teams, and additional 183 swimmers were awarded Honorable Mention status by earning NCAA 'B' time standards during the 2009-10 season.
Hughey, a senior from Auburn, Ala., was the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association (CCSA) champion in the 100 yard backstroke event, as well as part of the 200 yard medley relay and 400 yard medley relay teams that won CCSA championships
Zachensky, a freshman from Marietta, Ga., was named CCSA Freshman of the Year after earning CCSA championships in the 100 yard breaststroke and 200 yard breaststroke events, and was part of the 200 yard medley relay and 400 yard medley relay championship teams.
