Friday Baseball Washed Out, Doubleheader Set For Saturday

BOILING SPRINGS - Gardner-Webb's Friday baseball tilt at UNC
Asheville has been postponed due to wet weather and thunderstorms
in the Asheville area. The two teams will play a doubleheader on
campus at UNC Asheville's Greenwood Field beginning at 1:00 pm on
Saturday.
Gardner-Webb and UNC Asheville are currently tied for seventh in
the league standings, which makes Saturday's twinbill very
important in terms of seeding for the upcoming Big South Conference
Tournament.
GWU needs to win both games Saturday to finish in front of Asheville. Both teams have won nine league games heading into Saturday's action.
