
Four GWU Swimmers Honored at Academic Awards Ceremony

BOILING SPRINGS, NC- Four members of the Gardner-Webb swim team were recognized today for their accomplishments in the classroom, as part of Gardner-Webb University's 55th annual academic awards.
Brianna Bleymaier, a junior from Cool Springs, T.N., was awarded the Alpha Psi award in theatre.
Sarah Steadman, a junior from Excelsior, M.N., won the Broad River Review Editor's Prize in Prose.
Michael Roka, a junior from Ft. Myers, Fla., was awarded the International Business award.
Victoria Bryant, a junior from Charlotte, N.C., won the F. Keith Griggs Student Leadership award.
The students received their awards during a ceremony held Tuesday morning in the Paul Porter Arena.
