Gardner-Webb Women's Swimming Ranked Nation's Top Program In Academics

EVANSTON, IL - For the second consecutive time, the Gardner-Webb women's swimming program has been honored by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for having the best cumulative GPA for all NCAA Division I programs across the country for the Spring 2010 semester.
The Runnin' Bulldogs had a cumulative GPA of 3.625 for the semester, putting the team atop the CSCAA Division I All-Academic Team list. Rounding out the top five were the University of Evansville (3.590), Lafayette College (3.570), American University (3.568), and George Washington University (3.550).
This marks the second consecutive time, and fourth overall time in the program's eleven year history that the Runnin' Bulldogs have earned the top ranking.
