
GWU's Meghan Allum Leads After Round One of the 2011 Toronto Star Women's Amateur Tournament

Toronto, Ontario, Canada - Gardner-Webb rising junior Meghan Allum carded a first round 73, +1, on Monday to finish tied for first-place overall after day one of the 2011 Toronto Star Women's Amateur tournament held at the Dundas Valley Golf & Curling Club in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Allum, a rising junior from Markham, Ontario, Canada, was one of three players to shot a first round 73, +1, finding herself in a three-way tie for first-place heading into the second and final round of play on Tuesday.
All 96 participants will tee-off on Tuesday beginning at 7 p.m.
GWU's Allum is set to tee-off at 12:10 p.m., as she is paired with fellow leaders Robyn Doig and Marion Reid.
