
GWU's Allum Finishes Tied for Ninth Overall in Stroke Play at the 2011 Toronto Star Women's Amateur Tournament

Toronto, Ontario, Canada - Gardner-Webb rising junior Meghan Allum carded a second round score of 82, +10, on Tuesday at the 2011 Toronto Star Women's Amateur tournament hosted at the Dundas Valley Golf & Curling Club in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Allum followed up her Monday score of 73, +1, with an 82, +10, on Tuesday to finish the two rounds of stroke play in a tie for ninth-place overall with a combined score of 155, +11.
With her ninth-place finish, Allum qualified as the No. 9 seed in the Championship Flight in match play, which consists of two rounds on both Wednesday and Thursday.
In the first round of match play on Wednesday morning, Allum will face off with the No. 8 seed Brittany Davidson with the winner taking on the winner of the No. 1/No. 16 seeded match later on in the afternoon.
