GWU's Erin Anderson Named Big South Volleyball Player of the Week

Charlotte, N.C. - Gardner-Webb outside hitter Erin Anderson has been named the Choice Hotels Big South Volleyball Player of the Week for matches played Oct. 22-28.
Anderson's solid performance helped Gardner-Webb to a 1-1 week. She totaled 34 kills with a .347 percentage and averaged 4.86 kills per set. She also tallied 13 digs and three blocks. In the 3-0 win against Campbell, Anderson posted 13 kills, six digs and one block. She then recorded another 21 kills, seven digs and two blocks against High Point.
The weekly award is the junior's first of her career.
The Runnin' Bulldogs will return home to host Winthrop on Friday night at 7 p.m. in Paul Porter Arena.
