
GWU Sophomore Heather Feldman Named to Big South All-Academic Team

Charlotte, N.C. - Gardner-Webb sophomore setter Heather Feldman was named to the Big South All-Academic Team for volleyball it was announced on Wednesday night at the awards banquet prior to the 2012 Big South Conference Volleyball Championship presented by Musco Sports Lighting.
Feldman, who has a 4.00 cumulative grade point average while working toward her undergraduate degree in Music, played in and started all 111 sets for GWU on the year. The Eden, New York native led GWU and was in the top-five of the Big South Conference with 1,052 set assists on the year and was first on the team with a .350 attack percentage. Feldman, who was named to the 2011 Big South All-Freshman Team, was also second on the team with 273 digs, while also adding 75 kills and 21 service aces on the year. The sophomore totaled 40 blocks on the year and recorded 13 double-doubles overall for the season.
After only two years at GWU, Feldman already ranks third in GWU's DI career records with 2,155 set assists.
