Gardner-Webb To Host Military Appreciation Day Saturday

SPRINGS - Gardner-Webb will host Military Appreciation Day Saturday
afternoon for its football season finale against Presbyterian
College. Kickoff is set for 1:30 pm in Ernest W. Spangler
Stadium.
All active and retired military personnel will be admitted free to the game. Normal admission is $20 for reserved adult seating, $12 for general admission adult seating and $7 for non-GWU student seating.
Gardner-Webb's team will pay a special tribute to the military on Saturday, wearing special helmets that feature a Bulldog logo wearing a digital camouflage sweater instead of the traditional red sweater. Saturday's game programs will also feature a camouflage theme.
Several special promotions and presentations will be held throughout Saturday's game as well to honor all military branches.
