
GWU's Clarke, Swan and Al-Gashamy All Ranked in the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer National Statistics

Indianapolis, Ind. - The Gardner-Webb men's soccer team has a trio of student-athletes in Denzel Clarke, Matthew Swan and Ali Al-Gashamy ranked national in a number of statistical categories in the latest NCAA Division I Men's Soccer National Rankings that were released on Monday, November 4th.
Clarke still leads the nation in total goals with 16 and in goals per game with an average of 0.94 on the year. The junior forward also ranks second in the nation in total points with 33 and in points per game with an average of 1.94.
Swan is ranked eighth in the nation among all NCAA Division I men's soccer goalkeepers in total saves with 89 on the season and 19th overall in saves per game with an average of 5.24 on the year. The freshman goalkeeper is also ranked 44th in the nation with a .809 saves percentage on the season.
GWU's Al-Gashamy is ranked 22nd overall in total assists with seven on the season and is also ranked 46th in the nation in assists per game with an average of 0.41 on the year.
As a team, the Runnin' Bulldogs are ranked 14th in the nation in saves per game (5.53), 17th in total goals (31), 20th in scoring offense (1.82 goals per game), 24th in saves percentage (.817) and 32nd in total points (84).
