Feldman Named To Capital One Academic All-District III Volleyball Team

The Capital One Academic All-District Volleyball Teams are voted on by members of CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America). District III is made up of Division I programs in North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
First-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the Capital One Academic All-America Team ballot, with first, second and third-team All-America honorees to be selected later this month.
Feldman (Eden, N.Y. / Eden HS) has played in all 106 sets for Gardner-Webb this season and carries a perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point average in music. She has helped Gardner-Webb to a solid 15-13 record this season, which includes a 6-4 mark in the Big South Conference and an impressive 7-2 record in Paul Porter Arena.
Feldman ranks third in the Big South with 10.04 assists per set, and ranks No. 2 in overall assists. Her efforts have Gardner-Webb situated in fourth place in the league standings, just 1.5 games out of first. She ranks second on the team with 247 digs, ranks third with 17 service aces and has recorded 29 total blocks, 63 kills and a solid .297 hitting percentage.
Gardner-Webb, which has won nine of its last 12 matches, has a key road trip on tap this weekend. The Runnin' Bulldogs visit Winthrop on Friday night for a 7:00 tilt (Big South Network) and will travel to Presbyterian on Saturday at 2:00 (Big South Network). Only four matches remain before the Big South Conference Tournament begins on November 20 in Clinton, S.C.
