Gardner-Webb Men's and Women's Track & Field Programs Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Honor

New Orleans, La. - Runnin' Bulldog track & field was rewarded for its dedication to success both on the track and in the classroom by earning All-Academic Team designation in the recently released list from the USTFCCCA.
Both Gardner-Webb's men's and women's track & field teams earned a spot on the USTFCCCA's All-Academic list, as both programs posted a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.0 to qualify for the honor.
GWU's women's track & field squad posted a 3.14 team GPA, and was one of only three Big South track & field programs (also HIgh Point, 3.17, and Liberty, 3.19) to earn All-Academic Team status.
On the men's side, the team posted a 3.04 team GPA, earning the USTFCCCA's team honor for the first time since 2008. Like the women, Gardner-Webb's men's track & field team was one of just three Big South teams (also High Point, 3.05, and Liberty, 3.13) to qualify for the national honor.
