Charlotte, N.C. (BigSouthSports.com) - Fresh off a head-turning high jump performance last week, Gardner-Webb's Kayin Mujahid was tabbed the Women's Field Athletes of the Week, the League announced today.

Wednesday's honor marks the first Field Athlete of the Week honor for Mujahid this season.

A freshman from Philadelphia, Pa., jumped a personal-best 5' 8.75" in the high jump at the Carolina's Cup (Rock Hill, S.C.). She placed first overall in the event and her height currently tops the Big South.

Mujahid's high jump performance ranks 24th in the NCAA East Region.
