Gardner-Webb Baseball To Shave Heads Saturday For Childhood Cancer Research

BOILING SPRINGS – Gardner-Webb's baseball team will shave their heads Saturday, October 24, in an effort to raise money and awareness for the VS. Cancer Foundation.
The team will gather at Bill Masters Field / John Henry Moss Stadium for the event at Noon.
The VS. Cancer Foundation – based in Raleigh, N.C. – is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving kids' lives by empowering athletes and communities to fund lifesaving childhood cancer efforts. For more information visit the organization's website (www.vs-cancer.org).

Gardner-Webb will hold an intrasquad scrimmage later Saturday evening, taking the field at 6:00 pm at Bill Masters Field / John Henry Moss Stadium. Admission to the scrimmage is free of charge.
