Nathan Lile Named To Capital One Academic All-District Team

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.- Gardner-Webb junior Nathan Lile have been named to the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-District At-Large Team for his combined performances athletically and in the classroom.
First-team Academic All-District ® honorees advance to the Capital One Academic All-America® Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
Lile led the Runnin' Bulldogs to a third place finish at the 2015 Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association Championships, which was the best finish by the Runnin' Bulldogs since the 2012-13 season, when GWU also finished in third place. For his performances during the four-day meet, Lile was named the Most Outstanding Male Swimmer, and the Scholar Athlete of the Year, becoming the first male swimmer from Gardner-Webb to earn the academic award.
