Men’s Golf Finishes Seventh At 2018 ECU Intercollegiate

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The Gardner-Webb men's golf team completed play at the 2018 ECU Intercollegiate Tuesday afternoon, taking home a seventh-place finish.
The three-round tournament was played on the 6,755-yard (Par 72) Brook Valley Country Club in Greenville, N.C.
Gardner-Webb (302-298-307-907) placed seventh overall. Host East Carolina took home the team crown, followed by Georgetown, Campbell, Charleston Southern, and Elon.
Aaron Thomas (75-72-75-222) finished tenth overall to lead the Runnin' Bulldogs, followed by Steffen Smith (74-73-76-223) who tied for 11th place. Chad Phillips (76-75-77-228) tied for 27th, while Jake Kennedy (77-78-79-234) finished in 42nd and Jonathan Henry (77-79-81-237) placed 46th.
Next up for the Runnin' Bulldogs is the 2018 Gary Koch Intercollegiate in Gastonia, N.C., beginning Monday, April 9.
