CHARLOTTE – Gardner-Webb will be represented by seniors Triston Dozier and Will Millikan Tuesday during the Big South Conference's annual media day.

Festivities begin Tuesday morning at the Renaissance Suites Hotel and fans can follow on Gardner-Webb football social media (@GWUFootball on Twitter and Instagram), as well as the Big South's social media channels (@BigSouthSports). The afternoon session will feature live video on ESPN3, with Gardner-Webb's trio of Carroll McCray, Dozier and Millikan set to air at 3:30 pm.

Dozier (LaGrange, Ga. / LaGrange HS) enters his third season as a starter at corner and is coming off his best season statistically. The 6-0, 180-pound standout had 32 total tackles (23 solo), eight pass break ups and blocked two kicks in 11 starts.

Millikan (Pinehurst, N.C. / Pinecrest HS) enters his fourth season as Gardner-Webb's starter at left tackle and will compete for All-Conference and FCS All-America honors in 2018. A 6-foot-4, 317-pounder, Millikan has made 29 consecutive starts at left tackle and has graded out among the team's best blockers throughout his career in Boiling Springs.

Gardner-Webb opens its 2018 season on Saturday, September 1, at 6:00 pm vs. Limestone in Ernest W. Spangler Stadium. That game will air live on the Big South Network (bigsouthsports.com).
