HIGH POINT, N.C. – Gardner-Webb had four top-five finishes and set a handful of new personal records at the Runnin' Bulldogs took part in the 2019 VertKlasse Meeting at High Point, N.C.
Natasha Akbarizadeh took home a fourth-place finish in the women's hammer with a mark of 59.88 meters.
Petra Jakeljic finished 6
th a toss of 56.15 meters. Cailen Blaie finished 18
th at 44.80 meters, and
Taliyah Wade placed 26
th at 41.09 meters.
Kenny VanVorst finished fifth in the men's hammer with a mark of 52.73 meters, setting a new personal record.
Nate Wonsley IV finished 18

In the men's 400-meter run,
Chase Thornhill timed in at 47.69 to take home a fifth-place finish.
