
Gardner-Webb Swimming Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Recognition

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Gardner-Webb men's and women's swimming teams have been recognized for their success in the classroom, earning College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) Scholar All-America team honors for the Spring 2019 semester.
The women's squad posted an overall GPA of 3.56, while the men's team finished the spring semester with a final GPA of 3.44.
"Coach Mike Blum takes over a program that has long been a mainstay of academic and athletic success," stated CSCAA Executive Director Greg Earhart.
A record 777 teams representing a record 480 institutions across all levels of collegiate swimming were named to the CSCAA Scholar All-America team, with each team achieving a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the semester.
