THE GAME
Gardner-Webb (11-15, 7-7 Big South) hosts Campbell (14-14, 5-11 Big South) on Saturday at 5:00 pm for Senior Day 2020. The Runnin' Bulldogs will honor seniors Eric Jamison, Jr., Justin Jenkins and Christian Turner – along with manager Matt Rose – prior to Saturday's opening tip. The game will stream live on ESPN+, with Fabian Fuentes on the call.

GARDNER-WEBB QUICK LOOK
•    Saturday also marks Gardner-Webb's second annual Hoopscoming event on campus. All former basketball letterwinners,
managers and coaches – for both the men's and women's teams – are invited back to campus to be recognized and to socialize
as a group prior to opening tip.

•    Tim Craft was the third coach in Gardner-Webb history to reach 100 career wins in six seasons. The Tallahassee, Fla., native
joined Hall of Famers Eddie Holbrook  (141) and Jim Wiles (103) on that list when GWU rallied for an 87-74 overtime win
against Hampton on January 19, 2019 in Paul Porter Arena.

•    Under Craft, the Runnin' Bulldogs have not endured a losing season in Big South Conference play in his six seasons. Craft
is 67-51 in the Big South, reaching at least 10 wins in five of his six seasons so far.

•    Gardner-Webb has played four overtime games in league play so far this season, going 1-3 to date. GWU defeated High Point
on the road in overtime on January 23, but fell to Charleston Southern in double overtime at home on January 25. GWU also lost
an epic, three-OT game at Winthrop on January 11 and at home to Longwood on February 1.

•    Over its last four games, five players are averaging 7+ points per game and four are shooting 50.0% or better from the floor.
Jaheam Cornwall leads that group with 19.0 points per game. Nate Johnson is averaging 18.3 ppg during that stretch.

•    Each of Gardner-Webb's five home losses this season have either been by two possessions or less – or in overtime.

•    GWU went 11-3 last season in "close games" – games decided by  two possessions or less or in overtime. That included an 8-1
mark in Big South play. GWU is 3-8 in "close games" this season, including home losses to Furman, Presbyterian, Radford,
    Charleston Southern and Longwood.

•    Point guard Jaheam Cornwall had a three-game stretch vs. Wichita State (11/18), South Carolina (11/22) and UT-Martin
(11/26) that saw him score 60 points (20.0 ppg), make 65.5 percent of his field goals (19-of-29) and 78.9 percent of his three-
point shots (15-of-19). Corwall tied his career-high with 24 points (eight three-pointers) in the rout of High Point on Monday.

•    Cornwall was named Big South Player of the Week on Monday after averaging 20.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists in a
    pair of league wins.

•    Senior guard Christian Turner has seen his minutes amped over the past five games, but has come into his own running the
offense in the past four games – averaging 8.0 assists per game to lift GWU to a 3-1 mark. The Atlanta, Ga., native has
coughed up only 2.5 turnovers per game during that span. He had a career-best 10 helpers in Thursday's loss at Hampton.

•    Ludovic Dufeal has swatted a career-high 53 shots this season, pacing the Big South with 2.0 blocks per game. The 6-foot-8
forward is also averaging career-highs in scoring (6.4 ppg) and rebounding (5.3 rpg). Teammate Kareem Reid is averaging
a strong 1.3 blocks per game in just 15.0 minutes of action – with the pair keying Gardner-Webb's defense to 114 blocked shots
so far this season. Dufeal has a 7-foot-3 wingspan and Reid is blessed with a phenomenal 7-foot-5 wingspan.

•    Reid had a stretch of 17-straight made field goals from January 18 through February 1. The stretch began vs. USC Upstate with
a thunderous dunk in traffic. The Queens, N.Y., freshman is shooting 62.4 percent from the floor overall this season – which
includes a crisp 70.2 percent effort in Big South games. The former top-75 recruit pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds in
the win over High Point on February 10.
