Wrestling Places 17 on 2019-20 SoCon Academic Honor Roll

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Gardner-Webb wrestling had 17 men named to the 2019-20 Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the SoCon office Thursday afternoon.
Earning spots on the honor roll were Jha'Quan Anderson (Conyers, Ga.), Brandon Bright (Edmond, Okla.), Roderick Davis (Powder Springs, Ga.), Will Edmiston (Mooresville, N.C.), Kyle Homet (Waynesburg, Pa.), Jeffery Linker (Concord, N.C.), Trevon Majette (Chesapeake, Va.), RJ Mosley (Oklahoma City, Okla.), Taylor Parks (Arlington, Texas), Anthony Perrine (Sagamore Hills, Ohio), Gabriel Pickett (Fuquay-Varina, N.C.), Austin Reames (Bristow, Va.), Jacob Reames (Bristow, Va.), Anthony Schiess (Cary, N.C.), Conrad Schiess (Cary, N.C.), JT Trautman (Waterford, Wis.), and Joshua Walker (Newton, N.C.).
Bright, Jacob Reames, and Anthony Schiess were also awarded the 2019-20 Commissioner's Medal for having a GPA of 3.80 or higher.
The SoCon Honor Roll recognizes the league's outstanding student-athletes who participated in varsity sports and posted a 3.0 grade point average or higher for the academic year.
