BOILING SPRINGS – Gardner-Webb football announced Thursday that it would host Presbyterian College in a non-conference game on Saturday, March 6 in Ernest W. Spangler Stadium.

Kickoff for the game is set for 1:00 pm and will stream live on ESPN+. The game will also air on WGNC 1450 AM / 101.1 FM.

Gardner-Webb and Presbyterian will meet for the 43rd time on the gridiron, with the series dating back to November 7, 1970. The Runnin' Bulldogs hold a 22-20 edge in the series, including two-straight wins in Spangler Stadium (2016, 2018).

Presbyterian won the last meeting in 2019 by a 24-14 score in Clinton, S.C.

With the addition of the Blue Hose, Gardner-Webb will now have six games on its spring 2021 regular season slate – with the first four of those games at home.

Head coach Tre Lamb will make his college coaching debut on Saturday, February 27, at home vs. Elon.
