CHARLOTTE – The Big South Conference announced schedule changes for the remainder of the Spring 2021 football season on Tuesday afternoon.
Gardner-Webb will host No. 9 Kennesaw State on March 27 as planned, with the two teams kicking off at 1:00 pm in Spangler Stadium (ESPN+). The home game with No. 24 Monmouth has been pushed to April 3 and will also kickoff at 1:00 pm that day in Spangler Stadium (ESPN+).
Gardner-Webb's road tilt with Robert Morris has officially been listed as TBD, but the Runnin' Bulldogs and Colonials are each expected to play only three Big South games this spring due to COVID-19 pauses in their respective programs.
The spring finale will now be at Charleston Southern on Saturday, April 17, just one day before the FCS Playoff selection show. The Runnin' Bulldogs and Buccaneers will kick off at high noon in Charleston (ESPN+).
