Gardner-Webb Men's Golf Finishes 10th At 2021 Seahawk Intercollegiate

WALLACE, N.C. – Gardner-Webb men's golf finished 10th at the 2021 Seahawk Intercollegiate, hosted by UNC Wilmington on Monday and Tuesday.
The Runnin' Bulldogs battled harsh weather conditions during Tuesday's final round. The tournament was held at the River Landing course in Wallace, N.C.
Host UNC Wilmington won the event by 21 strokes over Wright State. Gardner-Webb finished 10 strokes off the pace of USC Upstate.
Jake Scruggs (70-69-80) finished 22nd individually to lead Gardner-Webb. His second round score of 69 was the lowest for any GWU golfer in the event. Scruggs sank 12 birdie putts for the tournament, which also paced the 'Dogs.
Jules Bondil (72-73-77) finished 35th and led the entire tournament by shooting par on 42 holes. Miles Albright (77-73-79) finished 45th), Zack Byers (79-74-81) finished 52nd and Jake Kehoe (77-77-81) finished 54th.
Peach Bunnadodee (74-80-89) capped the Gardner-Webb contingent in 63rd.
Up next for the Runnin' Bulldogs is the 2021 ECU Intercollegiate in Greenville, N.C., on March 22 and March 23.
