Gardner-Webb Men's Golf Ties Winthrop For Ninth At ECU Intercollegiate

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Gardner-Webb men's golf finished in a tie for ninth on Tuesday at the 2021 ECU Intercollegiate.
The Runnin' Bulldogs carded a final day 305 to fall into a tie with Winthrop after the final 18 holes. Both teams finished four strokes off the pace of eighth-place Oakland.
The tournament was held at the Brook Valley Country Club.
Jules Bondil (73-75-75) finished 31st to lead Gardner-Webb individually, followed closely by Zack Byers (76-73-78) in 41st and Jake Scruggs (81-74-73) in 44th.
Miles Albright (77-74-79) finished 47th for the 54-hole event and Jake Kehoe (72-78-82) finished 54th. Peech Bunnadodee (78-79-77) competed as well, finishing 58th.
Coastal Carolina captured the team title by six strokes over Appalachian State.
