BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – Gardner-Webb took down Limestone on a windy Friday afternoon to improve to 7-7 on the season.

Doubles action saw the Runnin' Bulldogs win all three matches played. The day started with a 6-3 victory in the #1 flight when
Chrisjan Van Wyk and
Victor Putter. Gardner-Webb clinched the doubles point when
Breno Plentz and
Stefano Puga won in the #2 position 6-3.
Sebastian Harris and
John Spring ended doubles with a 7-5 triumph in the #3 match.
Singles matches continued to see consistency from the Runnin' Bulldogs. The first match to conclude was the #3 flight with Plentz winning 6-1, 6-1. Shortly after, Harris won in the #5 position to put their overall score at 3-0.
Gardner-Webb clinched the match when Spring won his matchup at #6 on a 6-3, 6-3 decision.
The day's action ended with Gardner-Webb winning two of the remaining three matches of the day.
Connor Enslin won 6-3, 7-5 in the #4 flight. In the #2 position, Limestone's Dovy Sadauskas defeated Van Wyk 6-2, 7-5. The match ended with Putter winning in the #1 flight by a 6-4, 6-4 score.
"We are set to host Davidson on Sunday, and we are looking forward to this upcoming matchup," said Griffith.
The Runnin' Bulldogs match on Sunday is scheduled for a 2:00 p.m. start.
