Men's Golf Wraps Up Play at 2021 Tar Heel Intercollegiate

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Gardner-Webb finished in 14th place at the 2021 Tar Heel Intercollegiate, which was completed on Monday after a weekend of challenging weather. The event was held at UNC Finley Golf Course.
The team ended with a total of 907 in the three-day event, which was 13 strokes behind UNC Greensboro.
Jules Bondil (77-73-73) topped the team with an event total of 227. He finished tied for 57th at the event. Jake Kehoe had the next lowest score, a stroke behind Bondil (76-74-78), with a 228 for 65th.
Zack Byers carded a (78-78-73) for 70th. Jake Scruggs (77-81-72) and Miles Albright (78-76-76) each shot a 230 for 73rd. Matt Brown (76-81-77) finished in 83rd.
North Carolina won the team title at the event, beating the field by 18 strokes. Only three teams finished under par for the event, which was delayed by severe weather in the Triangle.
