Gardner-Webb Men's Golf Finishes 12th At 2021 River Run Collegiate

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Gardner-Webb men's golf finished 12th at the 2021 River Run Collegiate, which was hosted by the River Run Country Club in Davidson.
The Runnin' Bulldogs finished two strokes behind Cleveland State and eight strokes in front of Big South foe Presbyterian after 54 holes of competition (300-303-309-912).
Charlotte (284-285-280-849) won the team title, beating the next closest competitor by 31 strokes.
Zack Byers (75-75-75-225) and Miles Albright (72-76-77-225) each tied for 26th position individually to lead Gardner-Webb. Max White finished 43rd, Jules Bondil took 56th and Mark Chandler finished 75th to round out the participants for the Runnin' Bulldogs.
Charlotte's Matt Sharpstene shot nine-under par (207) to win medalist honors.
The Runnin' Bulldogs will head to Virginia on October 4, playing in the 2021 Radford Shootout in Blacksburg.
