RADFORD, Va. – The Gardner-Webb women's soccer team took on Radford at Patrick D. Cupp Memorial Stadium on Wednesday night. The Runnin' Bulldogs emerged on top of the Highlanders in a 2-0 shutout victory.
"That was the definition of team win," said head coach
Mike Varga. "Radford put us on our heels in the first half and we weathered their attack behind a couple great saves from Katelyn. I asked the team to come out in the second half with a different mindset and they responded. Klara scored a composed goal that really built our confidence and then Maddie was able to finish the penalty. Wonderful team win to get three points against such a good team on the road and to keep such a high scoring attack from finding the net tonight was another good step for us."

Maddie Turlington in the 47
th minute of play.
