BOILING SPRINGS – Winners of six straight, Gardner-Webb (15-10, 9-3) will put its streak on the line Wednesday night, February 16 when Winthrop (17-8, 10-2) travels to Boiling Springs for a clash between the two top teams in the Big South Conference's South Division. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m.

All Gardner-Webb fans are encouraged to wear white in support of Wednesday's "White Out" inside Paul Porter Arena. General admission tickets are on sale for $10/ticket, and can either be purchased at the door or ahead of time here. Entry for Gardner-Webb students is free with a valid student ID, while the first 150 students in attendance will also receive a free white Gardner-Webb t-shirt at the door.

Gardner-Webb and Winthrop will be meeting for the second time this season. The Eagles used a second-half comeback to edge the Runnin' Bulldogs in the first matchup, 64-62, back on January 22 in Rock Hill, a game in which GWU led for nearly 31 minutes and before seeing a game-winning buzzer-beating 3-point attempt from D'Maurian Williams miss long.

Wednesday's showdown will be a chance for the 'Dogs to tie Winthrop atop the South Division standings. At 10-2, Winthrop currently leads the division by one game over Gardner-Webb, who is primed to pull even at the top with a midweek victory over its league foe. Both teams are currently streaking, with GWU as winners of the last six and WU victorious in its last four.

Gardner-Webb's own Phil Constantino along with former Penn State head coach Jerry Dunn will have the call on ESPN+. Jim "Mojo" Morrison will have radio duties on the Runnin' Bulldogs Sports Network (RBSN).
