Gardner-Webb Men's Golf Wraps Up Regular Season At Wofford Invitational

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Gardner-Webb men's golf concluded regular season play on Tuesday afternoon at the Wofford Invitational.
The Runnin' Bulldogs finished 13th in the tournament, which was hosted at the Spartanburg Country Club. Gardner-Webb (303-290-298) shot 891 to finish one shot behind Big South foe Winthrop and two shots in front of George Washington.
Senior Zack Byers (71-73-72-216) led the way once again, finishing in a tie for 17th individually. Jules Bondil (223), Miles Albright (225), Max White (227) and Peech Bunnadodee (233) rounded out the Gardner-Webb group this week.
The 54-hole tournament saw a tie for the team crown, with host Wofford pulling even with UNC Wilmington by the end of Tuesday's final round.
Gardner-Webb will head to Ninety Six, S.C., next week, beginning the 2022 Big South Conference Men's Golf Championship on Wednesday afternoon. The tournament will once again be played at the Patriot at Grand Harbor.
