CLINTON, S.C. -Women's Tennis concluded their regular season with a close, 4-3 win at Presbyterian. After having to reschedule the match two times before, the win moves Gardner-Webb to 6-2 in Big South matches.

Teodora Ristic and
Maria Jardim won 6-1 on court 2 but dropped the match in the topflight. Gardner-Webb's
Emilia Roslund and
Elise Semmartin were able to win 6-4 in position 3 to clinch the decisive doubles point for the 'Dogs.

The Blue Hose's Jessica Leeman opened singles play with her 6-3, 6-0 win in the #2 position. Ristic gave GWU the lead back with a 6-0, 6-2 win in the topflight to polish off a perfect 8-0 record in Big South matches.

The 'Dogs lost on court 5, but Semmartin won 6-3, 6-3 at #6, putting GWU one point away from clinching the win.

Jardim clinched the team's win with her 2-6, 6-4, 6-3 victory over Claudia Sanchez at court 3. Presbyterian won the final match of the afternoon, to make the final score 4-3.

Gardner-Webb will now prepare for the Big South Tournament with first-round matches scheduled to start at campus sites between April 14 and 16.
