Men's Golf Wraps Up Play In 2022 River Run Collegiate At Davidson

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Gardner-Webb wrapped up play at the 2022 River Run Collegiate men's golf tournament on Tuesday, finishing in a tie for ninth.
The tournament, held at the 7,317-yard (Par 72) River Run Country Club, featured 17 teams.
Gardner-Webb was paced by Jack Boyer in a tie for 23rd. Boyer shot a team-low score of 69 in the second round and finished just three strokes outside the top-10 individually.
Maddox Whittington (76-74-73-223) was four strokes back in 43rd, followed by Max White (80-70-78-228) in 63rd. Peech Bunnadodee (75-83-71-229) and Bradley Davis, Jr. (78-76-75-229) each finished in a tie for 67th.
Host Davidson College won the tournament with a final day rally, nipping East Carolina by three strokes. Howard's Gregory Odom, Jr., won medalist honors with a 208 over 54 holes.
