The Runnin' Bulldogs (10-11, 5-4 Big South) are in fourth place after nine games in league play. High Point (10-11, 2-7 Big South) is coming off a tough 72-64 loss at home to Campbell.

On Saturday, Gardner-Webb coaches will participate in the NABC Suits and Sneakers Week with Coaches vs. Cancer, teaming up to join the fight against cancer.

Gardner-Webb is riding a two-game win streak after beating Winthrop last Saturday in Rock Hill, S.C., and beating USC Upstate at home on Wednesday night. GWU turned a one-point halftime lead into a rout early in the second half, barreling on a 22-0 run before the Spartans could answer.

The Runnin' Bulldogs rallied for an 80-73 win at High Point in the two teams' first meeting on New Year's Eve. Gardner-Webb closed on a 10-3 run to end the game.

Anthony Selden led five men in double figures with 15 points. Kareem Reid, Caleb Robinson and Lucas Stieber each had 12 and DQ Nicholas netted 10.

Gardner-Webb put together a strong defensive game, limiting the Panthers to 34.8 percent shootinf rom the field.

Nicholas leads Gardner-Webb in scoring this season with 11.7 points per game, and is the team's top assist man as well (3.3 apg). Reid (10.4 ppg), Selden (10.2 ppg) and Julien Soumaoro (10.1 ppg) also average in double figures for head coach Tim Craft's balanced attack.

Caleb Robinson led the way on Wednesday night vs. Upstate and has been the team's sixth man standout with 8.2 points per game this season. Ludovic Dufeal continues to challenge for Big South Defensive Player of the Year honors with 1.6 blocked shots and 5.0 rebounds per game.

High Point gets a team-best 18.0 points per game from guard Jaden House, with Abdoulauye Thiam (13.8 ppg) and All-Big South forward Zach Austin (13.7 ppg) also scoring in double figures.
