CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Senior guard
Caleb Robinson has been named Big South Men's Basketball Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday, Dec. 4.
A native of Lake Artur, La., Robinson tallied 16 points and seven rebounds in GWU's loss to Queens (Nov. 29). He followed it up by dropping a new Gardner-Webb career high of 29 points with 13 rebounds in the 'Dawgs' win over previously undebated Western Carolina (Dec. 2). 22 of his Saturday points were in the second half alone. Robinson leads the Runnin' Bulldogs in points with 131, and in rebounding with 57.
This is Gardner-Webb's first weekly award of the 2023-2024 season.
