BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - Gardner-Webb Women's Lacrosse announced a schedule change for this upcoming weekend due to the rainy weather that have hit the area. Saturday's game at Presbyterian has been pushed back to Wednesday, April 19 with the time yet to be determined.
The Runnin' Bulldogs currently sit at 1-2 in league play after picking up their first win within the Big South this past Wednesday. They defetaed Radford 15-11 after a surging back in the second half to erase a three-goal halftime deficit.
Presbyterian have a 2-1 record in the Big South and started the year at 2-0, the first time in program history. Overall, they are at 5-6 on the year.
Gardner-Webb will now have their next contest be against Campbell (3-0) on Wednesday, April 12 at 3:00 p.m. from Spangler Stadium. This will be the next-to-last home game for GWU this season as they have six left in the regular season as they continue to fight for a top-four spot in the league standings to advance to the Big South Tournament.
