CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Guard Anaya Harris has been named Big South Women's Basketball Freshman of the Week, the conference announced Monday, Jan. 15.

A native of Raleigh, N.C., Harris tallied 18 points and three rebounds in GWU's loss against Charleston Southern (Jan. 10), and 10 points and four rebounds in Gardner-Webb's 72-58 win over Presbyterian College (Jan. 13).

This is Harris' first weekly award of the 2023-2024 season, and Gardner-Webb's third award as a team overall.
