SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Gardner-Webb (4-5) University men's basketball team dropped a mid-week contest at Wofford (4-5) by the final of 88-64 on Wednesday night inside the Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium.

However, the Terriers continued to find rhythm on the offensive end, pushing their advantage out to double-digits, 21-11, following a layup from Jeremy Lorenz. Gardner-Webb used a run of 9-3, fueled by six points from Mann, trimming the score to 26-20, but Wofford finished the half on scoring 16 of the final 27 points while taking a 42-31 lead into the break.
