"Our pitchers threw really well this weekend.", said coach Wigness. "It's hard to win games when you are only putting up two or three hits and those hits are scattered. We have to be quicker at making adjustments offensively. We are a good hitting team, we just aren't playing very well right now. Conference is difficult, everyone wants in to the conference tournament and everything is bring their best to us. We have to start bringing ours. Hopefully this last win sparks us going into next weekend."
Gardner-Webb will return home to Brinkley Softball Stadium to host Wofford College on Wednesday, March 27 at 6:00 p.m.
