BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – The Gardner-Webb University baseball team dropped their second of a three-game series with Presbyterian on Friday afternoon by a final score of 7-1.
Presbyterian got four across in the opening frame on a walked in run, a hit batter, and a fielder's choice that allowed two to score on a throwing error. A single in the fourth, and a double in the eighth allowed the Blue Hose to build a 7-0 lead. Gardner-Webb tallied one run in the bottom of the eighth when
Tommy Tavarez doubled to right center scoring

Charlie McDaniel picked up the win, and
Garrett Hodges tallied the loss.
Gardner-Webb will wrap up the series with PC on Saturday, March 30 at 1:00 p.m.
