HIGH POINT, N.C. - Chasing a crucial three points in the conference race, the Gardner-Webb women's soccer team (4-9-3, 3-2-2 Big South) suffered a 3-0 defeat on the road at High Point (3-9-3, 3-3-1 Big South)
The Runnin' Bulldogs got off to a slow start, with High Point taking the lead and ending a program-record shutout streak, inside the game's first three minutes. Gardner-Webb battled back for a competitive first half, but goals from HPU in the 50th and 81st minute wrapped up the contest

McBride forced one last save in the 62nd minute, the final shot on target for the Runnin' Bulldogs. High Point pulled away with a pair of second half goals, as Gardner-Webb fell 3-0
