On to the second half where the nationally ranked Runnin' Bulldogs began to flex their muscle in a big way. Gardner-Webb scored twice in the space of just four minutes, started by freshman midfielder

Gardner-Webb made it 2-0 by the 58th minute, with Ocana this time taking up the role of assist. Ocana found Orr who lifted a shot into the upper corner and over the outstretched Buccaneers keeping, sending the Runnin' Bulldogs bench into a frenzy. With another goal, Orr moves to four for the season.
The Dawgs wrapped up the game in the 69th minute, with freshman forward
Javan Ochieng finishing off a break as GWU broke from one end of the pitch to the other in seconds. Ochieng scored his first Gardner-Webb goal with a shot snuck a shot into the bottom left corner to hand the Runnin' Bulldogs a 3-0 lead that would hold up as final.
