Sims Lands Another Freshman of The Week Award After Terrific Individual Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Per release from the league office, freshman guard Spence Sims of the Gardner-Webb men's basketball team has earned Big South Freshman of The Week honors once again after a terrific individual week
Sims averaged 10.5 points and went 6-of-12 from three-point range in two games last week. He opened with nine points in 15 minutes off the bench against UNC Asheville, and then was the squad's second-leading scorer at USC Upstate on Saturday with 12 points
Sims and the Runnin' Bulldogs return to action on Wednesday, March 4th at 7:30 against USC Upstate in the Big South Tournament
