OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Redshirt senior Reid Bertram has been named to the National Pitcher of the Year Watchlist by the College Baseball Hall of Fame Office, on Wednesday, March 11.

Bertram, on the season, has a 2-1 overall record to go along with a complete game. In total, Bertram has tossed 21.1 innings while allowing striking out 11 batters.

Bertram is named alongside 141 of the nation's best pitchers from 26 different conferences, reflecting top performers from the 2026 season so far.

Gardner-Webb will return to action on March 13-15 as it welcomes in Longwood for the Big South Conference opener. First pitch on Friday is slated for 6 p.m.
