CLEVELAND, OH - Redshirt sophomore
T.K. Davis continued his phenomenal 2025-26 season on Thursday, winning his opening bout early in the day to advance at the 2026 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships
Seeded No. 17 at 133 pounds, Davis matched-up with No. 16 Zan Fuggitt of Wisconsin for the second season in a row at nationals. Davis scored his 25th individual win of the season, defeating Fugitt by a 4-1 decision in Thursday morning action. The Rockmart, Ga. native suffered a setback to No. 1 seed Jax Forrest of Oklahoma State later in the day, but has done enough to advance through the wrestle-backs bracket
Davis will return to the mat on Friday morning, set to take on the winner of No. 18 seed Gunner Andrick of West Virginia and No. 31 seed Gable Strickland of Lock Haven. With a win in that match-up, Davis will continue his run at nationals into Friday night and possibly Saturday morning
All the action, including Davis' bouts, can be seen all week on ESPN Plus and followed live on NCAA.com
