Gardner-Webb Men's and Women's Track & Field Teams Named USTFCCCA Academic All-American

NEW ORLEANS, LA - Official today, the Gardner-Webb men's and women's track and field teams have been named Academic All-American teams by the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association
Celebrating both an outstanding academic and athletic year, the Runnin' Bulldogs were named to both the men's and women's Academic All-American teams. On the men's side, the collective team finished with a 3.17 GPA while the women's team posted a 3.54 mark
Individually, senior Quentin Peterson was once again named an Academic All-American, this time by the USTFCCCA after posting an outstanding 3.93 GPA to go along with both of his NCAA Championship appearances. On the women's side, Paige Boyd received recognition after finishing with a 3.71 GPA and with an appearance at the NCAA East Regional Championships
