Runnin' Bulldogs 2026-27 Non-Conference Schedule Released

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - The Gardner-Webb women's basketball team has announced its upcoming 2026-27 non-conference schedule, featuring a slate of nationally prominent opponents and regional match-ups
GWU will open its non-conference slate at Catawba College on opening night, November 5th. What follows if four consecutive home games against regional opposition, including UNC Greensboro (November 11th), Queens University (November 14th), East Tennessee State (November 18th) and Mercer (November 21st), each match-up being the second half of a scheduled home and home series.
After that lengthy home-stand, the Runnin' Bulldogs will head to Chapel Hill to take on North Carolina, scheduled for November 24th, before heading out west for the Raising The B.A.R. Thanksgiving Tournament, played at Cal-Berkley. Tournament will play will take place from November 27th-29th, and feature two games against either Cal, Delaware or ECU.
The Runnin' Bulldogs will then come back to the east coast, scheduled to visit Western Carolina on December 2nd and Clemson on December 6th. The Dawgs final non-conference home game will be against Tennessee Tech on December 16th inside Paul Porter Arena.
The stretch run of the non-conference schedule for GWU will include three road games - at Wofford on December 19th, at UNC Wilmington on December 22nd and finally, at nationally ranked South Carolina on December 28th
